I'm back...well, I really haven't been gone...I've been working on my new project.(I always seem to be working on something new!) I've always loved blogging, and for a long time I've wanted to start my own website...so I did! The website is about losing weight (particularly belly fat), exercise, motivation etc....
Please come visit my website and check back often as it certainly isn't finished, but like weight loss, it will be a (fun, interesting, exciting, frustrating, educational, and fantastic) journey!

Hi, my name is Jeff and I'd like to introduce myself to the group and just say that it's refreshing to connect with a group of like-minded individuals who are trying to help themselves.
Many of the problems facing people who are trying to lose weight are typically the tip of the iceberg on what is really happening in their lives. Emotional distress (such as depression, grieving, low self-esteem) have been typically linked to cases where people eat (subconsciously as an emotional outlet) to the point where their Body Mass Index (BMI) is way too high.
When they look in the mirror, some people see a different image in their mind from what others see. We all know what an unhealthy self-image can do to us and that's why I think it's imperative that we confront this weight-loss issue for what it is (a physical and psychological imbalance) and team together to find adequate resources that will not only solve the issue, but keep it at bay and STAY that way!
I have a blog where I talk further on the subject and have more information. If you feel like it, you can check it out, I highly suggest it.

I think that most nutritionists and weight loss advocates will agree with me when I say it's time to dig deeper into the roots of obesity and uncover the underlying causes - so that, when you do lose that weight, you'll have a matching psychology that will help you KEEP IT OFF!
Hi! It's great to see you blogging about your weight loss. I decided to do the same for 2009. I have over 70 pounds to lose. Congrats on the weight you've lost. You are doing great!
Here is my blog if you want to check it out.

Hello,
Found your blog through search "weight loss". Thank you for the information. I am in a constant battle to avoid putting on too much weight... I am born to be physical and if I don't do enough burning energy, I have the ability to put on weight FAST. I won gold and silver at the Olympics and own an indoor rowing studio. I am also a father of four, and need to make sure that I find time to exercise. It is good for my mind and body to row, which is my only exercise. There are tons of benefits to rowing, you are seated, the entire body is involved and it is zero impact on the joints. Most of my weight since March I lost on Nutrisystem, I ended up quitting it because of the artificial food and I started to question the health benefits of such foods. What I learned about Nutrisystem is to REDUCE the amount I was eating... I cut out all soda and candy. Sounds simple to do without getting on a paid diet, but if you never were shown a path to follow, it is not that easy to stay disciplined. Ok, that is it for now, I need to do some coaching work.
Good luck everyone,
Xeno

You have a nice blog! What plan are you following? Or is it more just a lifestyle change? My mom and I have both been doing the same thing but my mom is a lot farther along than I am. I just put her before and after pictures up at my blog! Feel free to check them out and let me know what you think:)
I'm also starting the weight loss journey myself! I just started personal traning with Roland Semprie at his studio in downtown Toronto, and I feel great! Good luck to you and don't ever give up!
